Referring a patient to Dr Campbell:

To ensure that appointment places are offered on the basis of clinical need, we are requesting that patient referrals are sent to us for triage. New South Wales based patients:

If you are based in Northern NSW, the nearest immunologist in the sate is Dr Alan Baker who is based in Port Macquarie. Dr Baker sees both adults and children.

Does Dr Campbell see children?:

Yes. However, Dr. Campbell is not a paediatrician, and might require involvement of a Paediatrician, depending on the clinical circumstances. Infants up to twelve months old are usually best seen by a Paediatric Immunologist in the first instance.

Dr Kim Robertson is a private Paediatric Immunologist who practices in the Brisbane area at both The Wesley and Greenslopes Hospitals.

Dr Alberto Pinzon Charry from Paeds in a Pod is now offering a paediatric Immunology and Allergy service at the new Paeds In A Pod clinic in North Lakes.  He also practices at Greenslopes Hospital. Details for directing referrals can be found on their website.

Patients requiring testing for drug hypersensitivity:

Patients requiring testing for drug hypersensitivity should be referred directly to Compass Immunology who offer Queensland’s most comprehensive service for this purpose.

Patch testing for contact allergy:

Investigation for allergic contact dermatitis require multiple appointments over a five to seven day period. Dr Campbell is not able to provide this service. Patients who require patch testing for contact allergy should be referred directly to Dr Greg Siller at Central Brisbane Dermatology. Dr Siller and his associates offer an extensive range of investigations for all types of contact allergens.
